This portfolio has only one claim, that of honesty. Absolutely ALL the paintings created since the first one are presented here without any selection based on self-evaluation or otherwise of a potential, real or absent quality. The objective of this approach is to show the progression over time of a completely self-taught painter, in addition to being late-starting, in his solitary search for a personal language nourished by multiple influences from famous painters as well as lesser known, even anonymous ones, outside of any formatting by academic teaching. One will find there the explanation of a heterogeneous production traversing, according to moods and subjects, the great continuum of painting that goes from figuration to abstraction with the sought-after desire, though not always achieved, of reaching an in-between.
